FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does the club offer Learn to Curl classes?

Yes.  Our classes run all season long and begin in the Fall (September or October) and all Learn to Curl classes are open to the public.  Our classes end when our season ends (late February/early March).  Details and how to register for specific classes can be found via our "Learn to Curl" page when they are available.  You can also watch for events on Facebook or our Grand Rapids Curling Club Eventbrite page.

When is your next Learn to Curl class?

We are always trying to add as many Learn to Curl classes as we can to accommodate everyone who wants to try the sport of curling.  For the most up to date list of classes, you can visit our Eventbrite page.  It will always have the latest schedule.  On that page, click the button to FOLLOW us to be notified when new events get added.

Does the club offer Leagues?

Leagues are available each season on various days of the week, depending on ice arena schedule.  Our season runs roughly from October through late February/early March.   For the most up to date information, please keep tabs on our "Leagues" page and our Facebook page.

How do I become a Member of the club?

Memberships are available each season starting in the Fall and are offered on an annual basis.  More information can be found on our "Membership" page.  Thank you!

Does the club offer Private curling events?

Yes, we do host private or corporate Learn to Curl classes on a first come, first serve basis (schedule permitting).  For more information on private events, use our "Contact Us" form.

Private events are hosted and supervised by our club volunteers.  We do not rent out our space or equipment directly to private groups due to liability purposes.

How long is a curling season?

Our curling season will last as long as our host arena has ice available, generally this is late-September until late-March.  The ice is shared with many other groups (hockey, ice skating, etc.) so we use what ice is available to us to arrange Leagues and Learn to Curl classes as much as possible.
